Donetsk, Ukraine - Footage filmed on Monday shows an injured boy in a Donetsk hospital following a deadly explosion, which left one child dead and two more injured.
The explosion occurred after children attempted to open a shell, which they had discovered in a sand-pit on school grounds on Sunday.
Three children were reportedly playing on a school playground when they found the shell in the sand-pit.
Mother of one of the injured boys Evgeni Bogdanov, Victoria Bogdanova, explained that the blast took place when the boys "decided to open it [the shell] with the help of a stone."
As a result of the blast, one 10-year old boy died while two of his friends were seriously injured.
