Russia is concerned by the fact that, despite Moscow and Damascus’ gesture of goodwill, Jebat Al-Nusra militants refuse to leave Aleppo. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press-conference with his Guatemalan counterpart, Carlos Morales.

“And they are not alone in doing this, because Ahrar as-Sham, whom many of our partners consider ‘moderates,’ are in complete solidarity with Jebat Al-Nusra, as are other armed formations which are now in eastern Aleppo,” Lavrov added.

A humanitarian pause has been declared in Aleppo. Eight humanitarian corridors are working in the city - 6 for civilians and 2 for militants. As the Ministry of Defense of Russia has reported, all of these corridors are constantly under fire by terrorists.

Earlier it was reported that on Thursday, the first day of the humanitarian pause, only 8 wounded militants left the city. On Friday, not a single person left the eastern districts.
