Another victorious day for the Syrian army.
In the central province of Homs, the army took control of the Jazal oil field, northwest of Palmyra, after it engaged in heavy clashes with ISIS terrorists. The clashes ended with dozens of terrorists being killed or wounded. In addition, the army also destroyed several of their vehicles, some of which were carrying heavy machine-guns. Artillery bombardment was carried out in Al Bardeh in the eastern countrysides of Qaryatayn and Palmyra.
In Daraa province, the army foiled a terrorist attack by Al Nusra Front terrorists. The counter-terrorist operations continued in Darra Al Balad area, Al Nazihin Camp and in the Al Karak and Al Abbasiya neighbourhoods of Daraa city.
Scores of ISIS terrorists were also also killed during the raids in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh in Hama province. In addition to destroying the supply routes that linked eastern Salamiyeh countryside with northwestern countryside of Palmyra, the Army also destroyed a machine-gun-equipped SUV vehicle.
Operations against ISIS terrorists in Deir Ez Zour province are not yet finished. The army continued their operations in the graveyards area. The Syrian Air force carried out strikes against ISIS positions in Al Tharda, Hill 17 and Al Sunoof Hill.
