Syrian Armed Forces were busy fighting against the terrorist groups for the past two days.
Syrian Ministry of Defense spokesman confirmed that yesterday the army destroyed headquarters and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in several areas of the eastern countryside of Palymra, in addition to annihilating several of Al Nusra Front targets in the countryside of Damascus where the army also discovered a tunnel that was stretching all the way from the building of the Sherry Company to the highway and further to the countryside of the town of Harasta.
Today, units of the Syrian army managed to regain to control of the village of Maarzaf, located northwest of Hama. The achievement comes, following an intense battle with Al Nusra terrorists.
The military sources said army units carried out operations against Al Nusra Front movements and gatherings in the Northern countryside of Hama. An entire group of terrorists was eliminated next to the village of Khirbet Al Hajama, including 6 members of the East Turkestan Islamist Movement. It is noteworthy that the Syrian forces often clash with the terrorists form the East Turkestan Islamist Movement as they fight alongside ISIS and Al Nusra.
Meanwhile, the Syrian air force destroyed dozens of vehicles, including tanks and armored vehicles, that used to belong to ISIS and Al Nusra front, stationed in the town of Uqayribat in Hama province. Terrorist targets, located south of the villages of Imam Halfaya and Al Lataminah, north of the town of Soran, south of the village of Al Hawash and north of the town of Morak, were also hit.
