Over the past day, the Ukrainian infantry approached the settlement of Zhelobok on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic. Fierce fighting has taken place in the suburbs, as reported by the power structures of the LPR.
As reported earlier, Ukrainian security forces attempted to break through the contact line near Kirovsk, Zhelobok and Donetsk. Evacuation of the villages nearby was carried out.
A Ukrainian army drone was also shot down in the area, which was aiding in the enemy's artillery fire.
