The observers the Special Monitoring mission of the OSCE have evacuated their field office due to Ukrainian shelling.

It is reported that on the night of June 29, the OSCE office located in Popasnaya was shelled, using 82-mm mortars and anti-aircraft guns and small arms.

The Ukrainian side argues that attacks were allegedly committed fighters of the People's Militia of Lugansk.

"These are armed attacks by illegal armed groups intended to intimidate representatives of the OSCE mission and force them to curtail to the will of Lugansk People's Republic"
