On July 7th, the Ukraine and the Netherlands are planning to sign an agreement on international legal co-operation, which will entitle the Dutch side to hold a court case on the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in Donbass in July 2014, as reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The legal basis of this decision will be the implementation of an agreement between Ukraine and the Netherlands on international legal cooperation against crimes involving the downed flight MH-17. The agreement provides for the practical aspects of the transfer of jurisdiction from the Ukraine to the Netherlands, making it possible for the participation of all the suspects in the crime in the Dutch trial.
