According to the field reports, intense strikes were carried out over the past few hours in the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour Airport, the cemeteries and in Al Panorama, where scores of the terrorists were left dead or injured.
Syrian Air Force and artillery units also destroyed several positions and fortifications of ISIS terrorists in Hwaijet Saker, Ein Bo Jouma’a, Al Ommal neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city, and in the villages of Ayyash, Al Khareta, and Al Baghiliyeh.
Meanwhile, local sources from the countryside of Deir Ez Zour province said a large number of terrorists, their leaders including, belonging to the newly former ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups escaped from the village of Tabiet Shamieh in the southeastern countryside of the province.
The sources added that ISIS terrorists kidnapped 17 young men from Deir Ez Zour city and some 200 others from Al Ashara and transported them to the town of Mayadeen, where they forced them to enter their ranks in order to cover up for the heavy losses, recently inflicted upon them by the Syrian Army (and even the locals).
In the countryside of Damascus province, Syrian forces, in cooperation with the Lebanese movement Hezbollah, proceeded with their operations on the sixth day in western Qalamoun area of Damascus Countryside.
A control was established over the hills of Wadi Al Magharaa Al Kabeira and Wadi Al Magharaa Al Sagheira.
The Army also took control of the illegal crossing point of Rass Al Shahout, from where the terrorists would smuggle themselves into Lebanon, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in terms of personnel and equipment, while tightening the noose around the remaining ISIS elements on the southern axis in western part of Qalamoun mountains.
