Yesterday, in the Ukrainian controlled portion of the Lugansk region, men of draft age were taken directly from the streets, from work, from shops, public places and brought to the Contrashevskaya hospital for an extended medical examination and preparation of documents for the military commissariat. These actions are associated with a shortage of Ukrainian army personnel.

This was stated by the official representative of the People's Militia of Lugansk, Andrey Marochko.

"We have repeatedly recorded a shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What happened yesterday is a clear indication that the Ukrainian authorities have taken extreme measures, violating all legal norms. A person who is forced to kill innocent people by force can no longer be called a soldier. Such recruits serve as a living shield in advanced positions without proper equipment and supplies. In simple terms, this is cannon fodder" the representative of the People's Militia commented.
