According to eyewitnesses, a grenade exploded around 2.10pm in the center of Kiev. Two women were injured, taken away in an ambulance. On the pavement were traces of blood.
The scene of the incident and the surrounding streets are cordoned off by the police. Presumably, a grenade was thrown from the park nearby, which is located above Hrushevsky Street.
In late August 2015, also in the Hrushevsky Street near the building of the Verkhovna Rada, a military grenade exploded, which was thrown by Ukrainian nationalists who tried to break through the cordon of the National Guard stationed during the rally of right-wing radicals.
