“Azov” Nazis and Ukrainian National Corps  threaten judges

Reports have surfaced that the National Corps of Ukraine ( the political party wing of the Nazi regiment "Azov") has threatened to physically harm judges who do not issue favorable sentences to veterans of the so-called Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone. This has been reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the People's Republic of Lugansk.

According to the LPR police, an employee of one of the city courts in the Ukrainian-occupied portion of Lugansk called the Ministry of Internal Affairs's hotline, and claimed that a few days ago the court's telephone receiver was left with a message in which the NCU announced the beginning of a "tough fight" for the "rights" of the soldiers of the "Anti-Terrorist Operation" (ATO).

The phone message included threats that in the event of judges issuing prison sentences or arrest warrants for ATO fighters or sentencing any other restrictions on their rights, such judges and court chairmen would be physically liquidated by NCU militants.

The caller also said that such messages and calls have been made to all the courts in the part of Donbass currently controlled by Kiev.

This information needs verification, but it can be indirectly confirmed as likely by the infamous impunity with which such Nazis usually act. The state known as Ukraine has completely lost control over them and only in rare cases rebuttals their reckless actions.

LPR soldiers killed and LPR civilians injured by Ukrainian bombardments

On July 24th, it was announced that another ceasefire was being established in Donbass until at least August 31st to secure peace for harvest time (a so-called "bread truce"). However, this ceasefire was violated by the Ukrainian side within just half an hour, and mid-August was hot in all senses of the word. On August 20th, the village of Krasny Yar, located in the Lugansk suburbs, was subjected to mortar fire.

On the evening of the same day, August 20th, the village of Kalinovo (near the town of Pervomaysk) was attacked. During the bombardment of the village of Donetskiy (a suburb of the city of Kirov), the Ukrainian army used incendiary ammunition yet again. As a result of the artillery attack, several houses burned to the ground. Because of the continuous bombing, firemen had no chance to promptly start extinguishing fires. In Kalinov there are no LPR soldiers - it is a vacation village.

Unfortunately, there have also been losses in the ranks of the People's Militia. On August 20th, when the village of Kalinovo-Borshchevatoy was shelled, one soldier was killed and one wounded.

The People's Militia of the LPR said in a relevant statement: "We attribute this behavior to the circumstances of Ukraine's impending Independence Day, as the 'ATO' command is eager to report 'victories on the front.'"

LPR residents continue to suffer from mines

On August 16th, a resident of the Nikolayevka village in the frontline area (Stanitsa Luganskaya district) stepped on an undetonated mine. The victim was a 60-year-old man. Fortunately, the injuries were of only average severity.

Lethal explosions on the territory surrounding the LPR frontline are commonplace, especially during agricultural work. The Lugansk People's Republic's People's Militia's sappers are constantly working on de-mining the republic's territories.

LPR soldiers and volunteers deliver aid to frontline towns

On August 19th, more than 150 residents of the frontline town of Irmino and neighboring villages of the Slavyanoserbsky district received clothes and shoes from the LPR People's Militia and from the  Volunteer Project of the Peace for Lugansk Movement. The People's Militia reported that aid preference was given to large families, needy families, and refugees. This is not the first and surely not the last action of its kind.
