Units of the Syrian Army destroyed several ISIS gatherings and downed a reconnaissance drone during operations in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zor Province on Sunday.
According to the field reports, Syrian Air Force dealt several blows to ISIS fortifications in Al Rashidiyeh neighbourhood of Deir Ez Zour city, the surrounding areas of Liwa Al Tameen, the towns of Mayadeen and Mohasan, and the villages of Al Shomeitia, Al Tebni, Al Masrab and Al Kharitta, killing scores of the terrorists.
In the village of Jafra, located in the eastern countryside of the province, one of the army units downed an ISIS reconnaissance drone.
In addition, Syrian Army also thwarted an ISIS attack on its checkpoints, located on the axis of Al Rashidiyeh neighbourhood, killing and injuring a whole bunch of terrorists.
Meanwhile, local sources said that residents of Deir Ez Zour countryside clashed with ISIS terrorists, killed plenty of the terrorists and confiscating their weapons in the process.
