At least 11 civilians have been killed by US-led air raids on the al-Badu region of Raqqa city on Wednesday, according to Fars News.
This is the latest devastation by the US-led coalition on civilians in Syria, which prompted in June for the UN’s chair of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria, Paulo Pinheiro, to say that he is “gravely concerned with the mounting number of civilians who perish during airstrikes.”
Pinheiro said the airstrikes had resulted in a “staggering loss of life.”
The US-led air strikes on Raqqa comes at the Syrian Democratic Forces battle ISIS to capture the city from the terrorist outfit.
