Crime of the century: "They spoke Russian and tore down Ukrainian flags!" - Like This Article

In a cafe of the Kolomiya region, visitors, including a known consultant of the local court, Mikhail Prislupsky, communicated among themselves in Russian and tore off flags of Ukraine from the walls. Another patron of the cafe, local journalist Olga Baranteskaya has took to her social media about the incident - "I appeal first of all to colleagues-journalists with the request to give maximum publicity to this incident, as occurrences such as these appear to get worse with each passing day." - wrote Baranetskaya.

She also stated that the criminals had encroached on the most sacred - the flag of Self Defense and the Maidan.

"The incident was captured on CCTV indeed, however, the court consultant did nothing to prevent the crime." added the journalist.

Baranetskaya stressed that the blatant occurence happened not in the East of Ukraine, where this is in the order of things, but in one of the most patriotic parts of the country.

"Abuse of Ukrainian symbols in a public place. Not in Donetsk and not in Kharkov! We are in patriotic Kolomyia!"
