The Foreign Policy Service of the European Union has opened a new website for information countering Russia within the framework of the campaign "EU Against Disinformation."
The portal was created by the operational working group on strategic communications, created by the EU foreign policy service in March 2015. As stated on the site, it will provide, in particular, interactive statistics and content in English, Russian and German, TASS writes.
"Today we are launching our new website to provide you with a single source aimed at solving the problem of pro-Kremlin misinformation," the service noted.
We recall that the law on tightening anti-Russian sanctions, which was signed by US President Donald Trump in August, provided $ 250 million for the creation and operation of a "Fund for Countering Russian Influence" that will provide assistance to NATO member states or the EU that are "subjected to influence from the Russian Federation".
