The General Command of the Syrian Armed Forces has announced that the anti-ISIS campaign in the eastern countryside of the central province of Homs is finished.
During the months long campaign, units of the Syrian Army managed to liberate over 1800 square kilometers of land.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian Army was receiving frequent backing by the Russian Air Force while conducting operations.
