At least two people were killed and nine others injured after terrorists shelled the old city in Damascus on Sunday.
According to police, two people were killed and five others wounded after two mortar shells fell on a residential area in Bab Sharqi neighborhood in the old city in Damascus.
Meanwhile, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported about the fall of mortar shells on Abbassiyin Square in Damascus.
Al Mayadeen correspondent, however, said that the terrorists also targeted the Jaramana road.
A source from Damascus police command said that on Sunday afternoon, FSA-linked terrorists stationed in the eastern Ghouta suburban area, targeted Al Abbassiyin Square and Al Shaghour, causing injuries of 4 people and varying degrees of material damage to public and private properties.
It is noteworthy that these actions mean a strict violation of the recently brokered de-escalation zone agreement for Eastern Ghouta, with Russia, Iran and Turkey acting as its guarantor states.
