Russian Air Force has once again targeted positions of the terrorist groups Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham (ex-Al Nusra Front) and Turkestan Islamic Party in the countryside of the northwestern Syrian province of Idleb.

According to the field reports, dozens of the terrorists were killed after Russian Air Force reportedly delivered at least 20 airstrikes and hit their positions in and around Abu Al Duhur Airbase in Idleb countryside.

Several ammunition depots and warehouses were also destroyed.

Recently, the Russian Air Force has stepped up its activities against the Uyghur and Al Nusra Front terrorists due to their increased attacks on civilian areas in Lattakia province.

Just last week, Russian Air Force delivered more than 20 airstrikes, targeting the Uyghur-occupied terrorist stronghold of Jisr Al Shughour in the western countryside Idleb province.

The UK-based so called “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” (SOHR), cited a source that over 20 Russian airstrikes have raided the airbase of Abu Al Duhur which is under control of the Uyghur terrorists from Turkestan Islamic Party and Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham.

Abu Al Duhur Airbase was captured by the so-called “moderate rebels” on September 9th 2015. The base had been besieged since September 2012.
