It has been a busy day for the Syrian Army and its allies in eastern Syria as it continues its drive to completely defeat ISIS.
The Syrian Army and its allies have liberated Al-Zebari in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The pro-government forces then proceeded to kill all ISIS terrorists who remained in the village.
Later that day, the Syrian Ministry of Defense then confirmed the liberated of Khasham town.
The Deir Ezzor countryside and neighboring Anbar province in Iraq are considered the heartland of ISIS.
Both Syrian and Iraqi forces are conducting operations to defeat the so-called Caliphate once and for all.
