Units of the Syrian Army and its allies from NDF and the aligned continue to advance east of Palmyra.
Earlier, Army and the aligned forces regained control of the villages of Qassimiye, Rabi'aa and Mgheyzel, located northeast of Jebb Al Jarah area of Palmyra countryside, after eliminating a large number of ISIS terrorists and destroying their weapons.
In the southeastern countryside of Damascus province, army units and allies made new advancements against the US-backed “moderate rebels.”
According to the field reports, the Syrian Forces were involved in fierce clashes with the US-backed “opposition.”
Eventually, they managed to liberate four villages and 10 border posts, namely 186 till 195.
Among the killed terrorists there were two senior commanders, one from the group Osous Al Sharqiyah and another one from Jaish Ahrar Al Ashayer. Both terrorist groups are supervised by US.
Meanwhile, reports came about an ISIS ambush at the entrance to the town of Qaryatayn, located southeast of Homs.
Four ISIS terrorists have since been neutralized by the Syrian Army soldiers. One of the soldiers, however, received fatal injuries.
