Units of the Syrian Army have reestablished control over the neighborhoods of Kannamat, Al Mattar Al Qadim and Al Rasafah in the eastern city of Deir Ez Zour, following fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists on Tuesday.
This is a rather important achievement, as the Army has been struggling to defeat the terrorists hiding in these key neighbourhoods for months.
Meanwhile, Syrian troops discovered more than thousand tons of stolen wheat, flour and fertilizers, gathered inside one of the largest ISIS hideouts in Deir Ez Zour countryside.
The governor of Deir Ez Zour province, Mohammad Ibrahim Samra said that about 1000 tons of flour were found inside one of the ISIS hideouts in its former de-facto capital of Mayadeen, noting that the wheat was transported to the siloses in Homs province.
The Army has also discovered four ground containing at least 600 tons of stolen wheat, and another 122 tons of wheat while combing the areas around the recently liberated village of Al Husseiniyeh.
