Syrian Army and its allies have regained control over the stadium and Al Arifi and Al Oummal neighborhoods in the eastern city of Deir Ez Zour.
With the latest advancements, ISIS terrorists left in the city are now cut in half.
In the northeastern countryside of Hama province, army units carried out series of intense strikes against gatherings and fortifications of Hay’at Tahrir Al Sham (Al Nusra Front) terrorists in the surrounding areas of the villages of Khirbet Jweiyed, Toum Al Hawa and Abu Laffeh, killing more than 30 terrorists and destroying their vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machine guns.
The Army’s operations were also backed by the Russian Air Force units which targeted terrorists with thermobaric bombs.
Several of Al Nusra Front’s self-proclaimed leaders, among them Anas abu Malek, Abu Abdullah Taftanaz and Nour Al Shami, were identified among the killed terrorists.
