Top Ukrainian military officials did not try to conceal the fact that the West is training their troops in order to have an army ready to attack Russia.
Every three months 700 Ukrainian servicemen undergo the training.
450 military instructors from NATO countries are working in Ukraine, according to the 1st deputy of the Minister of Defense Ivan Rusnak.
He presented the figures at a committee hearing on Ukraine's approximation to NATO standards, reports Ukraiinski novyny resource.
"At present 450 instructors from seven countries of the Alliance are in Ukraine.
They work with our servicemen on our proving grounds and in training centers", Rusnak said.
As korrespondent.net reported, nine Ukrainian battalions are already compatible with NATO troops. This information was publicized by the Head of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko.
