As Iraqi forces continue to liberate large swathes of territory from the Kurdish Peshmerga militia in Iraq, Kurdish citizens have begun expressing their outrage at this move.
Following from the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) unconstitutional independence election last month, Iraqi forces have begun moving to areas occupied by the Peshmerga they captured during the battles against ISIS but are not recognized as a part of the KRG's borders.
Israel was one of the very few states or organisations to support Kurdish independence, and in response to Iraqi forces moving in and liberating areas occupied by the Peshmerga, one citizen can be heard saying "We want Israel to come."
