Spokesman for the US-led international “anti-ISIS” coalition Colonel Ryan Dillon said Russia's claims about US aid to ISIS are about as accurate as its air campaign in Syria.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense disclosed evidence about the US-led international coalition coordinating with the terrorist group ISIS.
It is noteworthy that Russia’s air campaign in Syria which began in September 2015, has been very successful according to a number of analysts, as the Syrian Forces were able to retrieve more than 60,000 square kilometers of land previously occupied by ISIS and score several decisive strategic victories, in addition to destruction of the vast majority of ISIS military installations and infrastructure.
More than a million people were able to return home thanks to Russia’s efforts.
As opposed to that, the US-led coalition was mostly resorting to bombing the civilian areas, with dozens of people being killed throughout the east of Syria in the past month in a complete violation of the international law.
For comparison: when Russia asked the US Air Force to strike ISIS convoys that were fleeing Abu Kamal, it received a negative response, saying terrorists began surrendering themselves and are thus being protected by the Geneva Convention.
(Un)surprisingly, none of the coalition members have reminded themselves of the Geneva Convention during their bombing campaigns in Deir Ez Zour and Raqqah.
