SANA'A, Yemen - The total shutdown of the Sana'a International Airport has hindered the arrival of United Nations aircraft's, airport's Director General Khalid Al-Shayef said in Sana'a, Yemen's capital, on Wednesday.
In addition to the United Nations aircraft's, humanitarian aid and Red Cross personnel were also not able to arrive.
The airport's full closure came following an announcement by the Saudi-led coalition battling Houthi resistance fighters to close all land, air and sea ports after a ballistic missile was intercepted from Yemen being fired at an international airport near the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
