The volume of Gazprom’s deliveries abroad grew by 9.6% between January 1st and October 15th, 2016. The press service of this Russian gas giant has reported this.

The growth of deliveries amounted to 11.8 billion cubic meters in absolute terms.

“Over nine and a half months of 2016, we have already ensured the growth of gas supplies abroad to be equal to the growth of all of 2015. Despite the fact that we still have two and a half months, we have already surpassed last year’s results,” Miller, the head of the company, stated.

The largest growth in deliveries since the beginning of the year were to Denmark (a growth of 148.6% or .8 billion cubic meters of gas), the Netherlands (92.5% or 1.6 billion cubic meters), and Greece (53.7% or .7 billion cubic meters).

Exports have also increased to Austria by 24.8%, or .8 billion cubic meters, France by 21.1% or 1.5 billion cubic meters, and Germany by 7%, or 2.4 billion cubic meters.

Over all of 2016, the expected level of deliveries is to amount to 165 billion cubic meters of gas, while the average price for Europe in 2016 amounts to $167-171 for one thousand cubic meters.
