US President Donald Trump has arrived at Tel Aviv airport.

The move comes amid the decision of the Israeli security cabinet to establish a committee which will examine ways to legalize Israeli settlements that were built illegally in West Bank. Since decades ago, Israeli settlers have been building their homes and facilities in the West Bank, without any approval, either from the Palestinians or Israelis.
Trump’s visit is also surrounded with his controversial proposal to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and thus recognize the city as an "undivided capital of the State of Israel." Washington has not taken any steps in this regard so far. The move is greatly opposed by the Palestinian and Arabs leaders (as well as some of the international community), who have since warned that making such move might spark the new Palestinian Intifada.
After completing his visit to the Israelis and the Palestinians, Trump will head straight to the Vatican and then to Brussels.
