US President Donald Trump has arrived at Tel Aviv airport.

He came straight from the Saudi capital city of Riyadh where he previously attended the American-Islamic summit and at which a declaration was signed by all attending (muslim) countries that have since obliged provide up to 34,000 troops to be used in the current and future US-led "wars against terrorism", namely in Iraq and Syria and even Iran, should a conflict ever break out there.

The summit was attended by countries, known to be US allies.

"King Salman and most Muslims feel the desire of peace and wish to stop all forms of extremism and terrorism", Trump was heard saying at the summit.

Trump already met with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (by whom he also got greeted at the airport) and other high-ranking Israeli officials.

"We must work together to build a future that would bring peace to all countries in the region". "We have reached an agreement in Riyadh that marks a historic broader cooperation for the future in the face of terrorism", said Trump right after he landed in Tel Aviv.

For his part, the Israeli prime minister Netanyahu expressed hope that one day Riyadh will be directly connected with Tel Aviv, adding that "Israel has commitment to peace with all neighbors, Palestinians including."

It is noteworthy that Trump’s plane took off from Riyadh and landed directly in Tel Aviv.

At a news conference, held in occupied Jerusalem, the US president said he arrived in Tel Aviv to confirm the strength of the permanent relations and friendship between Israel and the United States.

He said "there is no doubt that Iran is no less a threat to the world peace than ISIS" and called on Tehran to "immediately stop funding, training and equipping terrorists and militias", as he put it.

For his part, the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, said there is a chance for peace in Palestine and that Donald Trump and his administration will make necessary efforts to achieve this goal.
Tillerson also spoke about the alleged trilateral meeting between Americans, Palestinians and Israelis and which is said to be determined later.

During his stay, Trump is scheduled to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem as well as the Wailing Wall, the holy site for Jews.

On Tuesday, Trump will also head to the West Bank where he will visit the city of Bethlehem in order to attend talks with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas.

He will later return to Jerusalem to visit Yad Vashem, the Israeli holocaust museum, where he will deliver a speech.

It was also reported that Trump administration ordered Israel to provide some economic benefits for the Palestinians in the West Bank in order to “boost confidence” between the two.

The move comes amid the decision of the Israeli security cabinet to establish a committee which will examine ways to legalize Israeli settlements that were built illegally in West Bank. Since decades ago, Israeli settlers have been building their homes and facilities in the West Bank, without any approval, either from the Palestinians or Israelis.

Trump’s visit is also surrounded with his controversial proposal to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and thus recognize the city as an "undivided capital of the State of Israel." Washington has not taken any steps in this regard so far. The move is greatly opposed by the Palestinian and Arabs leaders (as well as some of the international community), who have since warned that making such move might spark the new Palestinian Intifada.

After completing his visit to the Israelis and the Palestinians, Trump will head straight to the Vatican and then to Brussels.
