Ukraine is going to turn off the electricity supply to the Lugansk water filtering station

The Lugansk Energy Association (LEO) is preparing to shut down the western filter station, which supplies water primarily to settlements in areas beyond Ukraine's control, said Volodomyr Gritsai, the company's CEO.

"We need permission from the state enterprise Ukrenergo to disconnect this object. We remind you that 90% of the water goes to the territory not under Ukraine's control, said Gritsay on the "Hromadske" channel.

Recall that on November 7, the Lugansk Energy Association de-energized the Petrovskaya pumping station, which provides water to residents of the Lugansk People's Republic. The reason for the shutdown was the debt of the Popasnyanski waterline for electricity.

We note that on the eve of November 6, Vladislav Deinevo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR, who is plenipotentiary of the Republic at the talks in Minsk, said that to date the Lugansk People's Republic has no debts to the Ukrainian side for water supply.
