French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has verbally assaulted Marine Le Pen, French politician and presidential candidate in the upcoming presidential elections, after she expressed her support for the Syrian president Bashar Al Assad during her recent visit to Lebanon.
While meeting with the Lebanese officials, Le Pen stated that “Bashar Al Assad represents the only sensible solution against the Islamic State.”
“Le Pen has shown her true colours by supporting a dictator who has murdered more than 300,000 of his people and has forced many more to become refugees”, Ayrault said on Wednesday.
