Syrian Army annihilated all terrorists in the surrounding areas of the factories, north of Jobar district of Damascus, earlier on Monday.
Military sources confirmed that all positions, belonging to Al Nusra Front terrorists and affiliated groups in the surrounding areas of the factories, north of Jobar, a district located in the eastern outskirts of the Syrian capital city of Damascus, were captured by the Syrian Army.
The military operations were focused on the areas from which Al Nusra Front terrorists and the affiliated groups started their attacks. The operation was carried out precisely and resulted in decisive army victory. All terrorists, including some of their leaders and many foreigners in the area, were eliminated by the Syrian Army and their equipment destroyed, in addition to being carried out in a record time and with a high coordination between all participating units. The Army also destroyed Al Nusra command centers, arms and ammunition depots, booby-trapped and machine-gun equipped vehicles in the area.
The terrorists, however, keep shelling residential areas of Damascus with mortars and rockets.
Four people, among them two children, were injured in a mortar attack by the terrorists on Al Qemarieh and Tishreen residential neighborhoods of Damascus city. Material damage was also caused in both neighbourhoods.
