Units of the Syrian Army, supported by the Air Force, launched intensive strikes on ISIS positions in southern outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city and the city’s southwestern countryside.
An ISIS tank and a tanker truck were destroyed on the road leading to the Al Taim school in Deir Ez Zour. ISIS positions in the graveyard areas, Sareit Jnied, Al Tharda, and the villages of Ayash, Al Bghallieh and Al Husseinia, were also hit.
In addition to the strikes in Deir EZ Zour, ISIS and Al Nusra Front positions were also hit in the areas of Jawwalak, Al Bardeh, Al Hazouri, Al Baiki, Hosh Al Zabadi, Al Mhaimen, and Al Rastan in Homs province.
