Units of the Syrian Army continue their operations against the terrorist group ISIS in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour.

According to the field reports, air force units carried out intense strikes on ISIS positions in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour city, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and destroying three of their headquarters.

6 ISIS boats, located on the Euphrates River, near the surrounding areas of the villages of Al Sabha and Al Mrai’eyeh, located in the eastern countryside of the province and several more boats near the surrounding areas of the western countryside, were also destroyed. The boats were used by ISIS for navigation and transfer of their equipment, firearms and ammunition.

In the city of Deir Ez Zour, the Army destroyed ISIS headquarters, located near the Al Halabiyeh roundabout. Terrorist positions in the neighborhoods of Al Hamidiyeh, Al Aridi, Al Muwazafin and Al Rashidiyeh, were also targeted.

Four terrorists were killed when the Syrian Army artillery units pounded the Al Maqaber area in the southern outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city.
