A car bomb exploded in front of the buildings of National Security and Sports Ministries in the Somalian capital capital city of Mogadishu.
Initial reports indicate that a car, loaded with explosives, targeted a crowded restaurant. According to eyewitness accounts, 8 people were killed and the same number of them were left wounded.
The Reuters news agency quoted a source from the Somali police which confirmed the killing of three people in the bombing.
The identity of the attackers is not yet known, however, the Al Shabaab terrorist group is known for occasionally carrying out attacks in public places and in the vicinity of the government facilities all over the country.
