China respects the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, whose fate should be determined by the Syrian people. This is the declaration of the Chinese Foreign Minister spokesperson Hua Chunying.
China has reacted to US missile bombing in Syria. The official spokesman of the Chinese diplomat department Hua Chunying said that Beijing respects the Syrian President Bashar Assad.
According to Chunying, China does not interfere in the internal affairs of other states. He noted that the Syrian president has been voted by the Syrian people, and so China respects the choice.
With regard to the American bombardment, the spokesman asked that such questions be directed questions to the United States.
On the night of April 7, the US massively bombed a base of the Syrian Air Force by means of cruise missiles.
The raid was accompanied simultaneously by offensive jihadists of ISIS. In fact the American raid has led terrorists to launch an offensive not far from Palmyra.
