The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has invited the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel to personally visit Chechnya in search of truth about human rights in the region.

"Do not address the Russian mass media in slander, and guided by false information. French President Macron, please bring Mrs. Merkel, in search of truth in the Chechen Republic. The doors are open!"- Kadyrov stated on his channel Telegram.

Earlier, President Macron strated that during the meeting with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he addressed the situation of sexual minorities in Russia, especially in Chechnya.

Last month, Western media made headlines in regard to the alleged 'labour camps' for homosexuals in Chechnya. No evidence of this has been presented and the head of the Republic has denied these allegations.
