At least one person was killed and few more people were left wounded in a knife attack that took place between Fuhlsbüttler and Hermann Kauffmann in the district of Barmbek in the northern German city of Hamburg on Friday, the police said.
The German police said they have s stopped the attacker since.
The motive is not yet clear, and police called on the citizens to stay away from the area.
“We do not have clear information about the motive behind the attack or the exact number of casualties,” the police said on its Twitter page.
