Boko Haram kills 50 in Nigeria - world is silent - Like This Article

July 27, 2017 - Fort Russ News -

More than 50 people have been killed in an attack by militants of the radical group "Boko Haram" on an expedition for oil in the northeast of Nigeria, France Press reports with reference to military and medical sources.

Earlier the statement mentioned the death of 10 people, including nine military men. "The number of victims is growing, now there are more than 50 of them and new bodies are being found," the source said.

A representative of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) reported that geologists and surveyors who were supposed to be engaged in oil exploration near Lake Chad were abducted near the Jibi village in Borno.

In Nigeria, the militants of the radical Islamist group "Boko Haram" oppose the Western model of society and seek the introduction of Sharia Law throughout the country. The grouping is behind most of the terrorist attacks that are regularly carried out in response to a military campaign directed against it, which is being undertaken by Niger, Cameroon and Chad.

Boko Haram is largely armed by the stockpiles of American weapons left behind in Libya, after murdering Muammar Gaddafi.
