Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and injured as a result of an explosion of the vehicle they were travelling in, within the Lugansk People's Republic.
"Around 18:00, in the Novotoshkovskoe village area, the explosion by an unknown explosive device killed three Ukrainian soldiers and three others were injured," - it said in a statement.
We do not condone the deaths of soldiers on any one side - but what were they doing there in the first place?
