Pentagon: "Despite failed missile testing, North Korea is still a threat" - Like This Article

Speaking to reporters, Pentagon spokesman Colonel Robert Manning claimed that despite North Korea conducting missile tests last week that were considered a failure by the West, the country still remains a “threat” and that they "continue to learn."
North Korea conducted three missile tests from Kittaeryong in the country's east over the weekend.
“We have to make the assumption that they continue to learn throughout each one of these missile launches,” Manning said. “You're still firing missiles, so that's a threat.”
“If you’re asking if those three short-range missiles was less of a threat, the answer is no. It was a provocative action," the Pentagon spokesman said.

These comments were however made before North Korea successfully launched a missile that flew over northern Japan in the morning of local time.
