According to the field reports, a complete control was taken over the hill of Jeb Al Mazarea which is overlooking the village of Salba, located east of the town Salamiyeh in the countryside Hama province.
The victory was achieved, following a brief military operation, during which several ISIS gatherings and fortifications in the surrounding areas of the village were destroyed, with heavy losses in terms of personnel and equipment being inflicted upon ISIS terrorists during the operation.
All supply routes leading to the village were also cut.
The move is highly important for future ground developments as taking control over particular hill means that the Army established complete fire control over the strategic village of Salba, with terrorists in its surrounding now being besieged.
