In 2014, fulfilling their professional duty, Russian journalists perished in the southeast of Ukraine: Andrei Stenin, a special photo correspondent of Russia Today, Anatoly Klyan, First Channel cameraman, Igor Kornelyuk, correspondent and sound engineer for the Rossiya television channel, and Anton Voloshin. All of them were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
