Pro-opposition media have reported that ISIS have surrounded an elite unit of the Syrian Army in the eastern Syrian town of al-Sukhnah.
Heavy clashes are on going between The Tiger forces of the Syrian Army and ISIS at the eastern entrance of al-Sukhnah near the city of Deir Ezzor.
Pro-opposition sources have claimed that ISIS have besieged the town from all directions, trapping dozens from the The Tiger forces and other Syrian Army units.
The same sources have also reported that The Tiger forces leader Suheil al-Hassan is also trapped in al-Sukhnah.
This cannot be independently verified by Fort Russ News at this moment however.
The Tiger forces and Suheil al-Hassan are most famous for their role in completely liberating Aleppo and Palmyra, and lifting the sieges on Kueweiras military base and the city of Deir Ezzor.
