Deir Ezzor city will be liberated in one week, according the Russian Ministry of Defence in a statement released today.
Major General Igor Konashenkov said that the city of Deir Ezzor will be “liberated completely” from ISIS “over the next week” despite Kurdish-led forces “joining the battle against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists” and attacking Syrian government forces.
Kurdish-led aggression against Syrian government forces prompted Russia to also warn that "any attempts of shelling from the areas where the militants of the Syrian Democratic Forces are based will be immediately curbed" and that "Firing points in these areas will be immediately suppressed by all means of destruction," as reported earlier by Fort Russ News.
