The Army also took control of the village of Aanq Al Hawa, the main local stronghold of ISIS in Jeb Al Jarrah area, known to being a home to several sessions of the meetings of the local ISIS leaders, and a center of aid gatherings that had been delivered to them from the town of Uqayribat, the former major ISIS hub in Hama province.

In addition to taking control of Shindakhiyeh and Dhahar Abu Al Khanazeer, the Army also assumed control of most of the surrounding hills.

According to the field reports, the next few hours will be victorious, as the Syrian Army is about to announce complete liberation of the eastern countryside of Homs city. The focus will then be shifted towards liberation of some of the remaining villages in the rural areas of the town of Al Mukhram, expected to get liberated within the next few days.

In today’s liberated areas, however, the engineering units of the Syrian Army already began their work of dismantling land mines and IEDs that were left over by ISIS terrorists.
