The ISIS- affiliated Amaq News Agency claimed on Thursday that over 100 civilians in Deir Ezzor countryside were killed by Russian airstrikes.
The agency claimed that the airstrikes targeted Mayadin City in Deir Ezzor's eastern countryside.
There has been no announcement by the Syrian or Russian governments about the claim made by ISIS, nor has the terrorist group released photographs or provided any other method to substantiate their claims.
ISIS have been on a massive retreat in Deir Ezzor's countryside since last week when the Syrian Army lifted the siege on the provincial capital.
