Iraqi Forces were engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists and liberated several villages in Hawija district of Kirkuk province. 

According to the fields reports, that Iraqi Forces liberated the villages of Saadia, Jaafari and Wardia on Saturday.

The Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) said their forces and the Iraqi Army reached the outskirts of the village of Humeida, located south of Hawija, following clashes with ISIS terrorists.

Engineering units of the PMU began clearing the road between the hills of Hamrin and Al Rashad, located southeast of Hawija.

For his part, the Iraqi Federal Police Chief Major General Raed Shaker Jawdat said his forces and the PMU liberated five villages west of Hawija, pointing out that they continue to advance towards the district itself and currently in control of the area of ​​90 square kilometers.

For his part, the Commander of the Hawija Liberation Special Forces units, Major General Abdul Amir Rasheed Yarallah, said his forces are working with the Federal Police and the third and fourth divisions of PMU on liberation of the villages of Ahnaf , Tarqiyah, Araba, Al Hamdaniyah, Al Ayoun, Al Jaefariat, Tilul Dhiyab, Al Shantah, Al Waridiyyat, Al Sebti, Nuweikat, Tal Obeid, Tal Said, Tal Al Zahab. Al Olaya,  Tal Al Zahab, Al Suflaa, Al Bushkirat, and Hamad Al Ali.

In addition, the Popular Mobilization Units and the Iraqi Army recaptured the Makhal mountain range in the vicinity of administrative borders of Salah Ed Din province. They are already clearing the area and looking for remains of the terrorists.

The Iraqi Forces also liberated the Abbasid district southwest of Kirkuk, where the Iraqi flag can already be seen hanging from the buildings, after crossing the Zab River yesterday.

Meanwhile, reports came that the United States is established a new military base in the Makhmour district of the northern Iraqi province of Nineveh.

The Chief of Staff of the Peshmerga forces in Kurdistan province of Iraq, Jamal Aminki, said that the United States established a military base in the Makhmour district of Nineveh province.

He said that Washington transferred most of its military equipment from the base in Qayara to support the Iraqi Army and the Peshmerga in their process of liberating Hawija from the grip of ISIS.
