Russia has denied reports made by the ISIS-affiliated Amaq Agency that two Russian servicemen were captured by ISIS on Thursday in Syria's Deir Ezzor province.
“All Russian servicemen in Syria are safe, healthy and continue fulfilling their assigned tasks," a representative of the Russian-operated Hmeymim airbase in Syria's Latakia province said.
"There have been no incidents of Russian servicemen being captured, or any losses in the Deir Ezzor province or other areas in Syria,” he continued.
Earlier today Fort Russ News reported the claim made by ISIS  that the terror group captured the soldiers in an attack against al-Shola and Kabajab settlements to the west of Deir Ezzor city.
