The Syrian Army and its allies have liberated the village of Marat and parts of the town of Khasham, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour, after they managed to cross into the eastern bank of the Euphrates river from Al Maraieya.
According to the field reports, the Syrian Army and its allies also liberated Haweijet Saker, until now the largest remaining ISIS stronghold in Deir Ez Zour.
The Army has also liberated Hawaij Abu Musa'a, Hawaij Abu Arab, Al Kharita, and Ein Abu Jumaa, located west of Deir Ez Zour, as well as several hills in the eastern countryside of the province.
Meanwhile, several Iranian convoys, bringing tons of humanitarian aid, arrived in Deir Ez Zour, and for the first time since Syrian Army earlier in the month lifted the 3 years-long siege, previously imposed on the city of Deir Ez Zour by ISIS terrorists.
In general, delivery of humanitarian aid and supplies has now become much easier as the Army liberated and secured Deir Ez Zour Airport.
