Free Syrian Army (FSA) supporters have been refused entry at Sydney's ANZ Stadium for the second leg of the World Cup qualifying match between Australia and Syria.

Signs posted at the stadium displayed what flags were not permitted into the stadium, which including the FSA flag.



In addition, dozens of people, including children accompanied by their parents, were refused entry into the stadium by the Australian Federal Police for wearing FSA merchandise.




As of writing, the scores are locked at 1-1 at the 26th minute of the first half. 

The winner of this game goes on to play the country that finishes 5th in the South American Confederacy for a spot in the 2018 Russian World Cup.
